Merchant Account + Transactions
Where to find it: Right rail / account menu > My Account > Merchant Account
Brief Description
Your Merchant Account is where you add the PayPal email address connected to your EPX account.
If you host a paid Adventure, Event, or Online Event, member purchases can be connected to your Merchant Account so eligible host earnings can be paid out to your registered PayPal account.
The Transactions area lets you review activity related to orders, sales, and withdrawal requests.
What is the Merchant Account?
The Merchant Account is the payment setup area for members who may receive money through EPX-hosted experiences or eligible paid offerings.
It is used to:
- Add or update the PayPal email associated with your EPX account
- View your Current Balance
- Request a transfer to your PayPal account
- Review transaction activity connected to orders, sales, and withdrawals
Where is it?
Go to: Click profile icon> My Account > Merchant Account
Depending on your screen size, you may access this through your profile, account menu, right rail, or account settings area.
The Merchant Account area includes:
- Merchant Account — PayPal email and current balance
- Transactions — My orders, My sales, and Withdrawals
How does it work?
If you are eligible to host paid experiences, such as a paid Adventure, Event, or Online Event, members may purchase access through EPX.
Your Merchant Account connects those eligible payments to the PayPal email address you provide.
To receive funds, make sure the PayPal email shown in your Merchant Account is correct. If it is wrong or outdated, edit the PayPal email before requesting a withdrawal.
How do I add or update my PayPal email?
In the Merchant Account section:
- Go to My Account > Merchant Account.
- Find the Email associated with PayPal card.
- Select Edit.
- Enter the correct PayPal email address.
- Save the update.
Use the email address connected to the PayPal account where you want eligible payouts sent.

What is Current Balance?
Current Balance shows the amount currently available in your Merchant Account for transfer.
If your balance is $0.00 , there are no funds currently available to request.
If you have a balance, you can enter an amount equal to or less than your Current Balance and submit a withdrawal request.
How do I request a payout?
To request a payout:
- Go to My Account > Merchant Account.
- Confirm your PayPal email is correct.
- Check your Current Balance.
- Enter an amount equal to or less than your available balance.
- Select Send Request.
If the Send Request button is disabled, your balance may be too low, the amount may be invalid, or your account may need review.
What are Transactions?
The Transactions section is where you can review payment-related activity.
It may include:
- My orders — purchases you made (adventures, events and online events, Cribs rental and more)
- My sales — purchases other members made from your paid offerings
- Withdrawals — payout requests sent to your PayPal account
The old transaction FAQ also describes Transactions as the place to track orders, sales, withdrawals, payment statuses, and details such as date, asset, description, buyer, gross amount, PayPal fee, net payout, and status where available.

What does “My orders” show?
My orders shows purchases you made through EPX.
If you registered for or purchased a paid experience, event, online event, adventure, or other eligible asset, it may appear here.
What does “My sales” show?
My sales shows purchases other members made from your eligible paid offerings.
For example, if you host a paid Adventure, Event, or Online Event, related sales may appear here once purchases are recorded.
What does “Withdrawals” show?
Withdrawals shows payout requests connected to your Merchant Account.
This may include:
- Request date
- Gross amount
- Payment or PayPal fee, where applicable
- Net payout
- Payout status
- Transaction ID or confirmation details, where available
Why is my transaction list empty?
Your transaction list may be empty if:
- You have not purchased anything
- No one has purchased your paid offering yet
- You have not requested a withdrawal
- The paid Event, Online Event, or Adventure has not processed yet
- You are in the wrong account
- The feature is not enabled for your account
- The transaction is still pending or not yet available in the display
If you believe a transaction should appear, contact support with the event or adventure name, your account email, the expected purchase or sale, and a screenshot.
Can all members receive paid host payouts?
Not always.
Hosting paid Adventures, Events, or Online Events may depend on your membership level, account permissions, verification status, host approval, and current platform rules.
If you do not see hosting or payout options, support may need to review your account permissions.
Does EPX store my payment information?
EPX uses payment providers to process payments and payouts. Do not enter sensitive financial information anywhere except approved payment or account setup fields.
Are there payout or PayPal fees?
Payment processing or PayPal transfer fees may apply.
Who sets the price for a paid Event, Online Event, or Adventure?
The host or verified member responsible for the paid offering sets the transaction price, subject to EPX platform rules and any applicable agreement.
What if I entered the wrong PayPal email?
Update your PayPal email as soon as possible from My Account > Merchant Account.
If you already submitted a payout request with the wrong PayPal email, contact support immediately and include:
- Your EPX account email
- The PayPal email currently shown
- The correct PayPal email
- The payout amount
- The date the request was submitted
- A screenshot of the Merchant Account page
Support may need to review whether the payout has already been processed.
What if my payout has not arrived?
First check:
- Your PayPal email is correct
- Your Current Balance changed after submitting the request
- The request appears under Transactions > Withdrawals
- The status of the withdrawal
- Your PayPal account for pending or completed activity
If you still do not see the payout, contact support with your account email, PayPal email, request date, amount, status, and screenshots.
What if a member disputes a paid purchase?
Payment and purchase disputes may require support review.
Members should provide:
- The paid Event, Online Event, or Adventure name
- Purchase date
- Buyer and host account details, if known
- Transaction or order details
- Screenshots
- A short explanation of what happened
Do not promise refunds, reversals, or dispute outcomes unless current EPX policy confirms them.
Why is Merchant Account valuable?
Merchant Account gives eligible hosts a simple place to connect PayPal, see available balance, and request payouts from paid EPX experiences.
It supports paid hosting for Adventures, Events, and Online Events while keeping transaction activity easier to track in one account area.
